Meetings

The main event of the year is the Annual General Meeting & Member’s Day. The AGM is held in the morning before a buffet lunch and an afternoon of events. We also hold a Spring Meeting event and a summer Lanky Day Out details of which are advertised in our Magazine and on the News page.

Individual members give occasional illustrated talks about various aspects of the railway and other gatherings take place where members can discuss their latest research or be informed about the railway. These are advertised in Magazine and on the News page of the website

The Society has exhibition stands in the UK and Australia which provide a contact point for members and a way of making information about the the L&Y more widely available. One of our UK stands is pictured below.
